So Klingt's In Hennef - 2

So Klingt's In Hennef - 2 was produced by the independent label Sieg-Ton-Records as part of a series intended to preserve and document the local musical traditions of the Hennef region in Germany. Released in the late 20th century, the record serves as a sonic archive for regional amateur ensembles, specifically the Quartett-Verein Heisterschoß e.V., a male choral society, and the Mandolinenorchester Hennef-Kurscheid 1924 e.V., a long-standing plucked string orchestra.

The album reflects the era's grassroots interest in regional heritage and community music, focusing on the preservation of folk repertoire and traditional arrangements that might otherwise fade from public memory. The design is utilitarian and modest, prioritizing clear documentation of the participating groups over elaborate branding. It was received primarily within local circles and specialized ethnographic collections, serving as an important historical record for the clubs involved and the broader cultural landscape of the Rhein-Sieg district.
