Where it came from
Released in the late 1960s by the Argentine label Music Hall, this 7-inch EP showcases the work of Los Walkers, a prominent group within the emerging beat music scene in Buenos Aires. The record highlights the influence of British Invasion sounds and international pop trends that dominated the local landscape, translating global hits for an Argentine audience eager for contemporary rock and pop rhythms.
The tracks, including interpretations of songs like Lady Madonna, reflect the band's focus on accessibility and danceable arrangements characteristic of the era's jukebox culture. While Los Walkers were known for their energetic live performances and contribution to the 'nueva ola' movement, the design and production of this specific Music Hall pressing remain emblematic of the period's standard commercial aesthetic, favoring straightforward graphic presentation to reach a wide demographic of record buyers.
