Una Chitarra E Una Armonica / Un Uomo Intelligente

Released in 1972 on the RCA label, this single marks a period of significant artistic transition for the Italian singer Nada. During the early 1970s, she moved away from the more conventional pop sounds of her late-sixties Sanremo debut toward a more introspective, folk-inflected singer-songwriter style. This release captures that shift, featuring Nada embracing a more stripped-back aesthetic that reflected the broader intellectualization of Italian popular music at the time.

The production values and stylistic choices on this single were intended to highlight the emotional depth of the compositions, moving the focus away from orchestrations and toward the lyrical content. While the release remains a niche entry in her extensive discography, it is often cited by collectors of Italian seventies music for its raw arrangement. The record demonstrates the label's commitment to nurturing Nada’s evolving persona as she navigated the complex landscape of the Italian music industry in the post-beat era.
