Valzer Viennesi = Valses Vieneses

The Valzer Viennesi record, catalog number 70.169, was released under the Music Hall label, a prolific Argentine imprint known for mid-century orchestral and light classical pressings. Produced during an era when European waltz music remained a staple of South American ballroom and domestic listening culture, this compilation features the Valzer Viennesi Orchestra Sinfonica under the direction of Joseph Von Konrad. It reflects the broader trend of labels curating accessible, high-fidelity interpretations of Strauss-era compositions for a general audience.

The design and presentation of this release followed the functional, often austere aesthetic common to South American orchestral pressings of the period, emphasizing readability and standard cataloging. Joseph Von Konrad is documented as a recurring conductor for these types of thematic orchestral series, known for delivering crisp, functional arrangements rather than experimental reinterpretations. The record was received primarily as a utility disc, intended for those seeking a reliable collection of Viennese waltzes for social gatherings or casual listening.
