Armored Zombie

Armored Zombie was released in the Metal Raiders booster set, the second expansion of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in North America. Debuting in 2002, this set significantly expanded the available card pool by introducing staple trap cards and various undead-type monsters. The card reflects the early aesthetic of the game, which relied heavily on dark, macabre motifs inspired by creator Kazuki Takahashi’s interest in gothic horror and Egyptian mythology.
