Banishment of the Darklords

Banishment of the Darklords was released in the 2018 set Battles of Legend: Relentless Revenge. The card belongs to the Darklord archetype, a group of high-level DARK Fairy monsters characterized by their ability to copy the effects of other Darklord spells and traps from the graveyard. This particular spell card serves as a vital searcher for the deck, allowing players to add any Darklord card from their deck to their hand, which significantly improved the consistency of the strategy upon its introduction to the western card game.

The card features artwork consistent with the aesthetic established for the Darklord theme, depicting a dramatic, celestial-gothic scene that emphasizes the fallen angel motif inherent to the archetype. Designed to support a playstyle that revolves around resource management and graveyard manipulation, the card was well-received by competitive players for its utility. Its ultra-rare status in the BLRR set made it a standout inclusion for collectors interested in the visual and mechanical cohesion of the Darklord set.
