Dark Hole

Dark Hole debuted in the earliest days of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, first appearing in the 2002 Starter Deck: Yugi. As a staple spell card that allows the controller to destroy every monster on the field, it has served as a fundamental board-clearing tool for over two decades. Its design, depicting a literal swirling void, captures the chaotic and destructive nature of its effect, which has seen it shift in and out of competitive viability as the game's rules and ban lists have evolved.

The version from OTS Tournament Pack 23, released in 2024, is a common-rarity reprint intended for tournament prize support and community distribution. These packs are designed to provide active players with accessible versions of iconic cards, maintaining the classic artwork that has remained largely unchanged since the card's inception. By placing such a powerful, legacy card into a current tournament pack, the manufacturers ensure that both long-time collectors and new competitors retain access to essential game mechanics.
