Dark Hole

Dark Hole was first introduced in the early days of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as a powerful board-clearing spell. Designed to level the playing field, its effect forces both players to destroy all monsters on the field, reflecting a design philosophy focused on creating dramatic shifts in momentum. The card has remained a staple of the game since its debut in the Metal Raiders set, serving as a fundamental piece of utility for players across multiple generations.

The version from OTS Tournament Pack 12, released in late 2019, was distributed as part of a series intended primarily for use in sanctioned tournament play. These packs typically feature reprints of existing cards with updated frames or rarities, providing players with accessible copies of essential competitive tools. As a common rarity card in this specific set, it serves as a functional, utilitarian piece for deck building rather than a premium collectible, maintaining the iconic card art that has characterized the spell since its inception.
