Dark Jeroid

Dark Jeroid was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the Pharaoh's Servant expansion in 2002 before being reprinted in the 2005 Dark Revelation Volume 1 compilation set. As a member of the Fiend-type monster family, it was designed to provide tactical support through its effect, which lowers the attack of an opponent's monster by 800 points when summoned, reflecting the card's theme of psychological and physical suppression.

The artwork, characteristic of the early Konami aesthetic, features a dark, hooded figure synonymous with the sinister designs common in the game's initial sets. While the card became a staple of budget-friendly competitive decks during its prime for its ability to swing momentum in battle, it has since become a classic piece for collectors documenting the transition from early set releases to the comprehensive reprints that defined the mid-2000s era of the game.
