Dimensional Prison

Dimensional Prison was originally introduced in the 2006 set Cybernetic Revolution. Designed as a tactical answer to the increasing speed and power of offensive monsters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, it introduced a reliable way to banish attacking threats rather than merely destroying them, effectively bypassing many graveyard-centric strategies of the era. Its artwork, featuring a crystalline containment field, visually communicates the trapping nature of the effect, which became a staple in defensive and control-oriented deck lists for many years.

The version from OTS Tournament Pack 13, released in 2020, represents the card's long-standing relevance in the game's competitive circuit. As an Official Tournament Store (OTS) exclusive, this printing serves as a common-rarity utility piece provided to players through organized play. While it retains the classic functional design of the original, its inclusion in this pack underscores the card's enduring legacy as a fundamental piece of interaction that players and designers continue to reference as a baseline for non-destructive removal.
