Double Summon

Double Summon was first introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as a core spell card, designed to grant players a strategic advantage by allowing an additional Normal Summon during their turn. The card reflects the game's shift toward faster-paced gameplay, facilitating complex combos that require multiple monsters on the field at once. Its design emphasizes mechanical utility, featuring straightforward text that has remained a staple in various deck archetypes for years.

The Duelist League 17 participation version, designated DL17-EN017, was distributed as a promotional rare card through organized play events. Duelist League cards are recognized for their distinct foil lettering and their role in encouraging community participation within local game stores. While the card retains the original Kazuki Takahashi-inspired artwork standard to the series, this specific printing serves as a tangible memento of the competitive grassroots environment that defined the game's mid-era expansion.
