Evil HERO Infernal Sniper

Evil HERO Infernal Sniper was originally introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Gladiator's Assault set in 2007. It represents the 'Evil HERO' archetype, a dark, corrupted counterpart to the iconic 'Elemental HERO' monsters used by Jaden Yuki in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX animated series. The design aesthetic shifts the traditional heroic motifs toward a more aggressive, demonic appearance, reflecting their status as powerful monsters summoned through the specific use of the Dark Fusion spell card rather than standard polymerizations.

The LCGX-EN071 version included in the Legendary Collection 2: The Duel Academy Years Mega Pack was released in 2011 to celebrate the legacy of the GX era. As an Ultra Rare variant, it retained the original effect that allows the monster to inflict burn damage to the opponent during the standby phase, provided it is in defense position. While these cards were received with interest by fans of the anime’s darker plot arcs, they are primarily valued by collectors for their striking artwork and their role in rounding out the specialized Evil HERO fusion suite.
