Evil HERO Inferno Wing

Evil HERO Inferno Wing was introduced in the 2007 booster set Gladiator's Assault, serving as part of the Evil HERO archetype. These cards were designed to be corrupted counterparts to the classic Elemental HERO monsters popularized by the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX animated series, shifting the aesthetic toward a more aggressive, demonic theme. The design choice reflects the darker, corrupted narrative arc found in the later seasons of the show.

The card’s artwork, rendered in the distinct style of the era's fusion monsters, emphasizes the jagged, hellish motifs central to the Evil HERO theme. As an Ultimate Rare print, this specific version features a textured foil surface that highlights the embossed details of the monster, making it a distinct variant highly sought after by collectors of the GX-era aesthetic. Upon its release, it was received as a functional, if niche, addition to fusion-focused decks, prized primarily for its thematic synergy with Dark Fusion.
