Evilswarm Bahamut

Evilswarm Bahamut was released as part of the Hidden Arsenal 7: Knight of Stars booster set, which debuted in North America in 2013. This set served as the final installment of the Hidden Arsenal series, a collection primarily consisting of cards from the Japanese Duel Terminal arcade cabinet system. The Evilswarm archetype, known in Japan as Steelswarm, represents a corrupted version of the Gusto and Gem-Knight factions, characterized by a dark, metallic aesthetic and a focus on Rank 4 Xyz Summoning mechanics.

The card's design features the signature jagged, obsidian-like armor and glowing, sinister energy associated with the Evilswarm monsters. As a Secret Rare, the card features the distinct diagonal foil etching synonymous with the rarity tier, making it a visually striking piece from the late-era Duel Terminal adaptations. While the competitive viability of the card fluctuated, it remains a notable example of the narrative arc within the Duel Terminal lore, specifically highlighting the transformation of previously benevolent entities into antagonists.
