Evilswarm Bahamut

Evilswarm Bahamut was introduced in the Duel Terminal 7a booster set, released as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game’s Duel Terminal expansion series. This set focused heavily on the 'lswarm' archetype, which depicted the corruption of previous heroic factions by a parasitic alien entity. The design draws from the dark, mechanical aesthetic central to the Evilswarm narrative, reimagining existing monsters through a lens of eldritch, monochromatic transformation.

The card was designed as a high-rarity Ultra Rare, reflecting its status as a cornerstone of the Evilswarm deck strategy during its competitive peak. Illustrators for the Duel Terminal series utilized a signature high-contrast style to distinguish these corrupted variants from their original incarnations. Upon its release, it was well-received by players for its ability to steal opponent monsters, a mechanic that defined the tactical identity of the archetype within the era's meta-game.
