Fluffal Bear

Fluffal Bear was introduced as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game expansion set The New Challengers, released in late 2014. It belongs to the Fluffal archetype, a collection of monsters themed after anthropomorphic stuffed animals that serve as the signature deck for the character Sora Perse in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V anime series. The design aesthetic intentionally contrasts the cute, toy-like appearance of the Fluffals with their more sinister, mechanical counterparts, the Frightfur fusion monsters.

The card was designed to support the fusion-heavy strategy of the Fluffal deck, specifically functioning as a search engine to retrieve Polymerization from the player's deck or graveyard. As a common rarity card, it was widely available upon the set's release and became a foundational piece for players building budget-friendly or competitive Fluffal decks. It is well-regarded among fans for its utility in maintaining resource momentum, cementing its status as an essential utility card within its archetype.
