Fusion Conscription

Fusion Conscription was originally released in the 2016 Mega-Tin Mega Pack as a reprint of a card from the 2015 set Clash of Rebellions. It was designed to support Fusion-based strategies by allowing players to search their deck for a specific material required for a fusion summon, albeit at the cost of restricting the activation of that monster’s effects for the remainder of the turn. This limitation reflects the balancing mechanics often applied to search-heavy spells in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game to prevent early-game dominance.

The card’s artwork features imagery consistent with the theme of gathering resources for high-level fusion plays. While not considered a meta-defining staple, its inclusion in the 2016 Mega-Tin series was intended to make these specialized utility cards more accessible to a wider player base.
