This design was intended to bolster the consistency of fusion-reliant strategies like Invoked or Neos, offering a tactical bridge between the deck and the extra deck.

The 2021 Tin of Ancient Battles version, numbered MP21-EN081, served as a highly anticipated reprint that made this staple utility spell more accessible to the wider player base. Appearing as a secret-rare, this iteration featured the signature prismatic foil treatment characteristic of the Mega-Tin series. Upon its release, the card was well-received by competitive players for its efficiency, though its usage remains strictly balanced by its restrictive clause which prevents the player from special summoning monsters from the extra deck for the remainder of the turn, other than fusion monsters.
