Garnecia Elefantis

Garnecia Elefantis was introduced to the English market in 2002 as part of the Metal Raiders booster set, the second expansion released for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in Western territories. The card originated from the Japanese set Metal Raiders, which served as a foundational expansion that expanded the available pool of monsters, spells, and traps following the initial Starter Decks and Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon set.

The monster features artwork characteristic of the early series, emphasizing a high-fantasy aesthetic that blended organic creature design with armored or mechanical elements. As a level seven normal monster with relatively modest stats for its high level, it reflects the evolving balance of the game's early meta, where higher-level cards were often prioritized for their thematic presence rather than optimized competitive utility. It remains a notable piece for collectors focusing on the early Konami era due to its super-rare status in the MRD set.
