Glowing Crossbow

The Glowing Crossbow was introduced in the Legendary Duelists: White Dragon Abyss booster set, which was released in late 2018. This set was designed to support various strategies centered around characters from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, specifically focusing on archetype support for cards used by characters like Seto Kaiba and Alexis Rhodes. The card functions as an Equip Spell designed to provide targeted stat adjustments and utility to specific monster types, fitting into the specialized card pools that define the Legendary Duelists series.

As a rare-tier card within the set, the Glowing Crossbow serves as a functional piece of equipment in the game's broader mechanical landscape. The art features a distinct aesthetic consistent with the sci-fi fantasy fusion characteristic of the franchise's equipment spells. It was received by the player base as a utility card meant to bolster deck consistency for players utilizing the specific monsters identified in the set’s roster, contributing to the expansion of defensive and offensive options available during the late 2010s era of the card game.
