Glowing Crossbow

Glowing Crossbow was released in the Legendary Duelists: Season 2 booster set, which was designed to compile and reprint cards previously featured in specialized duelist-themed sets. This particular card originated as support for the Amazoness archetype, a deck style centered around a tribe of warrior women that has been a staple of the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game since its early years. Its inclusion in this set provided players with easier access to older, niche utility cards.

The design of the card reflects the aesthetic of the Amazoness monsters, emphasizing a blend of fantasy weaponry and tactical combat utility. As an Equip Spell, it is intended to grant a combat advantage by allowing a monster to attack twice per battle phase, provided it discards a card as a cost. It was received by the player base as a situational support piece, primarily utilized by enthusiasts of the Amazoness deck strategy rather than as a centerpiece of the broader competitive meta.
