Guardian Elma

Guardian Elma was originally released in the 2003 expansion set Magician's Force as an Ultra Rare before being reprinted as a common in the 2005 compilation set Dark Revelation Volume 1. The card represents a specific type of monster within the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game archetypes, designed with a restrictive summoning condition that requires the player to control a specific Equip Spell card, Butterfly Dagger - Elma, to successfully bring the monster to the field.

The card was designed by Konami’s internal game development team as part of the 'Guardian' monster series, which sought to emphasize synergy between specific monsters and their thematic equipment.
