Harpie Lady 1

Harpie Lady 1 originated as a foundational card in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, initially appearing in the early Metal Raiders set. The character design is rooted in Greek mythology, specifically the Harpies, blending avian features with human forms to create a distinct aesthetic that became a staple of the Wind-attribute monster lineup. The artwork for the original Japanese release is attributed to Kazuki Takahashi, the creator of the series, who emphasized a sharp, aggressive visual style to complement the card's offensive nature in duels.

The Duel Terminal 1 release, numbered DT01-EN057, introduced this card into the Duel Terminal arcade machine environment. These cards were specifically engineered for compatibility with Japanese arcade hardware that utilized a physical scanning system, allowing players to bridge tabletop play with digital gameplay. This version remains highly regarded by enthusiasts for its unique frame styling and its role in reintroducing classic support cards to a new generation of players interacting with the arcade-linked engine.
