I'm Just Gonna Attack!

I'm Just Gonna Attack! was introduced in the Speed Duel: Battle City Box, released by Konami as a standalone product designed to mimic the thematic elements of the iconic Battle City arc from the Yu-Gi-Oh! series. This card was specifically crafted to support the Speed Duel format, a streamlined version of the traditional Trading Card Game that emphasizes faster gameplay and simpler card interactions. Its inclusion in the box was intended to provide players with accessible tools that fit the aggressive, character-driven playstyles associated with the protagonists and rivals of the original animation.

The design of the card reflects the aesthetic shift toward functional, direct-play cards common in Speed Duel sets. Rather than featuring a complex narrative illustration, the card focuses on providing a clear mechanical benefit to help facilitate the back-and-forth combat scenarios characteristic of the Battle City tournament. As a common rarity card, it was widely distributed to ensure that all players utilizing the Battle City Box had equal access to the card's specific combat utility, making it a reliable staple for players looking to bolster their offensive strategies in casual or structured Speed Duel environments.
