Magic Reflector

Magic Reflector was first released in the Japanese Booster Pack released in 2000, eventually appearing in the North American Dark Beginning 2 set in 2004. As a spell card, it serves a defensive role, allowing a player to place a counter on a face-up spell card, which acts as a shield to prevent the card's destruction, sacrificing the counter instead. Its inclusion in Dark Beginning 2 was intended to reissue staple cards for players who may have missed earlier print runs.
