Megalith Phul

Megalith Phul was introduced as part of the Rise of the Duelist booster set, released in 2020. It belongs to the Megalith archetype, a group of Earth-attribute Ritual monsters that distinguish themselves by not requiring a traditional Ritual Spell card for their summon, instead using other Megalith monsters as tributes. This specific card was designed to serve as the primary engine for the strategy, offering players a way to cycle through their deck while facilitating the summon of higher-level monsters from the graveyard.

The artwork for the Megalith series leans into a monolithic, ancient aesthetic, suggesting stone-carved deities or construct guardians. As a common rarity card, Megalith Phul was widely accessible upon the set's release, allowing players of all levels to experiment with the unique mechanics of the archetype. It was well-received by competitive players for its ability to generate resource advantage, cementing its place as a staple within the niche but dedicated Ritual-focused community.
