Nekroz Cycle

Nekroz Cycle was introduced in the Secrets of Eternity booster set, released in early 2015. It serves as a core Ritual Spell for the Nekroz archetype, a theme deeply rooted in the lore of the Duel Terminal storyline. The card was designed to facilitate the summon of the powerful Nekroz Ritual Monsters by tributing monsters from the hand or field, reflecting the thematic emphasis on utilizing the remains of fallen heroes from previous conflicts to empower the current generation of warriors.

The visual design features the characteristic aesthetic of the Nekroz series, emphasizing blue, ghostly armor motifs that pay homage to iconic monsters from older Yu-Gi-Oh! expansions. Upon its release, the card became a staple in competitive play, as the Nekroz deck was highly regarded for its consistency and versatility. It is well-remembered by players for defining a significant era of the trading card game's meta-game, valued both for its strategic utility and its role in the complex narrative of the series.
