Pot of Riches

Pot of Riches was introduced in the Secrets of Eternity booster set, released in the North American market in early 2015. As a Normal Spell card, it reflects the game's long-standing tradition of 'Pot' cards, which typically offer resource management mechanics at a specific cost or condition. This iteration focuses on deck thinning and recycling, allowing players to shuffle Pendulum Monsters from their graveyard back into the deck to draw cards, a mechanic designed to support the Pendulum Summoning playstyle prominent during that era of the game.

The card features the signature artwork style associated with the series, illustrating a decorative vessel overflowing with treasures, consistent with the thematic design language established by earlier cards like Pot of Greed. Upon its release, it was categorized as a Secret Rare, distinguishing it with a unique holographic foil pattern that made it a sought-after piece for collectors. While it did not define the competitive meta in the same way as its predecessors, it remains a notable example of the aesthetic and mechanical evolution within the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game during the mid-2010s.
