Newdoria

Newdoria, identified by the serial number DEM2-EN013, was released as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Demo Deck 2015. These decks were produced by Konami as promotional tools, distributed primarily at hobby shops and organized play events to introduce new players to the basic mechanics of the game. The card itself is a reprint of a classic effect monster, designed to teach players about graveyard-trigger effects, specifically the ability to destroy an opponent's monster upon being sent from the field to the graveyard.

The character design of Newdoria draws from the dark, macabre aesthetic common in early Yu-Gi-Oh! monster archetypes. Originally debuting in the older 'Metal Raiders' set, the card features an illustration of a ghostly, spectral entity that reflects the game's gothic fantasy roots. While it is a common rarity card and lacks the prestige of high-tier competitive staples, it remains a meaningful piece of memorabilia for those who track the history of Konami's entry-level teaching tools and the evolution of the game's introductory product lines.
