Night Assailant

Night Assailant was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in 2004 as part of the Soul of the Duelist set. Designed as a Dark-attribute Fiend, the card became a strategic staple due to its unique ability to recur flip effect monsters from the graveyard, providing players with valuable utility in resource management. Its design, featuring a shadowy, spectral figure, reflected the darker aesthetic common to the set's Fiend-type monsters and was intended to reward players who utilized graveyard-focused deck strategies.

The Quarter Century Bonanza set, which includes the RA03-EN139 Secret Rare printing, was released to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the card game. This specific version utilizes modern card technology to apply the high-contrast, foil-intensive Secret Rare finish to an older, iconic tactical card. The reprint serves as a nostalgic touchpoint for long-term players, reintroducing a classic engine piece within a commemorative collection that emphasizes the visual evolution of card manufacturing over the last two decades.
