Raidraptor - Call

Raidraptor - Call was introduced in the 2016 Wing Raiders booster set, a release dedicated to supporting Xyz-based archetypes like the Raidraptors, Super Quantums, and Phantom Knights. This spell card was designed to provide the Raidraptor theme with essential search and swarming capabilities, allowing players to pull a specific monster from the deck to match the level of another Raidraptor already on the field. Its inclusion in the set helped solidify the competitive viability of the Winged Beast deck, which centers on rank-up strategies to summon increasingly powerful Xyz monsters.

The card features artwork consistent with the tactical, militaristic aesthetic of the Raidraptor series, which was notably used by the character Shay Obsidian in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V animated series. As an Ultra Rare in the Wing Raiders set, the card was produced with a foil treatment that elevated its status among players and collectors alike. Within the broader context of the trading card game, it is regarded as a quintessential piece of support that defines the playstyle of the archetype, prioritizing consistency and rapid field presence.
