Steelswarm Genome

Steelswarm Genome was released in the Duel Terminal 6a set, part of the unique Duel Terminal arcade system distributed by Konami. The art style of the Steelswarm cards, including Genome, was developed to reflect their lore as an ancient, subterranean force awakening to consume the world. As a card tied to the Duel Terminal narrative arc, Genome was integrated into a meta-game that emphasized the conflict between various warring factions, such as the Vylon and Gusto. Upon release, the set was noted for its integration of special holographic parallel rare technology exclusive to the machines, making the physical acquisition of these specific cards a distinct experience for collectors compared to traditional booster pack formats.
