In this lore, the Gusto tribe are a group of wind-wielders living in harmony with nature who utilize spirit-summoning techniques to combat the encroaching threats of the invasive Steelswarm and Gem-Knight factions. The design of this card reflects the tribe's aesthetic, emphasizing avian motifs and the swirling, gust-driven magic central to their playstyle.

The card was designed as a tuner monster, a role critical to the Gusto archetype's focus on rapid Synchro Summoning. Mechanically, it was intended to support the deck’s graveyard-reliant recycling loops, allowing players to pull resources from the deck to maintain field presence. As part of the Duel Terminal arcade-connected card game in Japan, the artwork features the high-contrast, dynamic style characteristic of that era of Konami’s card design, which prioritized distinct, thematic silhouettes to help players identify card types quickly during fast-paced arcade duels.
