Super Junior Confrontation

Super Junior Confrontation was released as part of the Shadow of Infinity booster set, which debuted in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in early 2007. As a common rarity card, it was designed to flesh out the tactical options available to players during the GX era of the franchise, reflecting the show's focus on school-based dueling competitions and the camaraderie—or rivalry—between young duelists.

The card features an illustration depicting a standoff between two student duelists, consistent with the set's thematic emphasis on the ongoing narrative of the Duel Academy. While not a centerpiece card, it serves as a piece of period-specific design intended to support mechanics involving specific monster types. It remains a nostalgic inclusion for collectors interested in the aesthetic shift the game underwent during the mid-2000s transition toward faster-paced playstyles.
