Torpedo Fish

The Torpedo Fish was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the Pharaoh's Servant expansion before being reprinted as a common card in the 2005 Dark Revelation Volume 2 set. This set was designed by Konami to provide players with accessible access to a wide variety of older, influential cards that had previously been difficult to acquire, effectively consolidating mechanics from several past expansions into a single curated release.

The creature design reflects the aesthetic of the early water-attribute monster types, utilizing a whimsical, mechanical submarine-fish hybrid concept. Its effect, which allows it to attack the opponent directly if only water-attribute monsters are controlled, highlights the era's focus on simple, archetype-specific strategies. While it never became a staple in professional competitive play, it remains a recognizable specimen of the early game's design philosophy and the broader legacy of the Dark Revelation reprint strategy.
