Tri-Brigade Revolt

Tri-Brigade Revolt debuted as a powerful trap card within the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, initially appearing in the 2020 Phantom Rage booster set before receiving this Secret Rare printing in the 2021 Tin of Ancient Battles. The card is central to the Tri-Brigade archetype, which features a thematic coalition of beast, beast-warrior, and winged-beast creatures designed to utilize the graveyard as a tactical resource. Its inclusion in the 2021 Tins was part of the annual 'Mega Pack' reprint series, which historically serves to make high-impact competitive cards more accessible to the wider player base.

The card's design and illustration were crafted to emphasize the archetype's lore, depicting a moment of unified resistance among the disparate animal factions. Mechanically, it was received as a cornerstone of competitive play during its tenure in the format, praised for its ability to generate significant card advantage and board disruption during an opponent's turn. Because of this high utility, the card became a staple in tournament-level decks, solidifying its status as one of the most recognizable and impactful traps of the era.
