Where it came from
Tri-Brigade Revolt first debuted as a Super Rare in the 2020 core set Phantom Rage, serving as the essential support card for the Tri-Brigade archetype. Designed as a high-impact trap, it allows players to perform a Special Summon of Tri-Brigade monsters from the Graveyard and then immediately Link Summon, effectively functioning as a recovery and board-clearing tool that solidified the archetype's competitive viability.
The card’s inclusion in the 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection released in 2023 provided players with a chance to acquire the card in multiple high-rarity foil finishes, including Platinum Secret Rare and Quarter Century Secret Rare. These versions were released to celebrate two decades of the game, featuring the same tactical design by the Konami card development team but updated with premium prismatic treatments that emphasize the intricate, industrial-fantasy artwork of the Tri-Brigade units.
