Aikatsu Academy! Animation PVs

The Aikatsu Academy! project was launched by Bandai Namco Pictures as a meta-narrative expansion of the long-running Aikatsu! franchise. Released as a series of web-based original net animations (ONAs), the project was designed to blur the line between the virtual idols of the series and real-world content creation, positioning the characters as 'students' navigating the realities of being an idol in the digital age.

The animation features a distinct, polished aesthetic that leans into contemporary internet culture, moving away from traditional television episode structures toward shorter, highly engaging vignettes. It was created to cater to a modern audience familiar with virtual streamers and social media-driven idol personas, receiving a warm reception from the existing franchise fanbase for its experimental format and focus on character-driven interactions.
