Annyeong Jaduya Season 2

Annyeong Jaduya, or Hello Jadu, began as a long-running manhwa series by Bin Lee before being adapted into an animated television series by Tooniverse. The second season, which aired in the early 2010s, continues the slice-of-life adventures of the spirited protagonist Choi Jadu and her family in 1980s South Korea. The series was designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia for older generations while remaining relatable to contemporary children through its humorous exploration of domestic life and school challenges.

The animation style mirrors the charming, rounded aesthetic of the original source material, emphasizing expressive character designs that prioritize emotional accessibility. Produced during a peak period for domestic Korean animation, the series was well-received for its gentle social commentary and focus on the universal trials of childhood. It remains a staple of the Tooniverse library, credited with sustaining a high level of popularity that spans multiple generations of Korean viewers.
