Where it came from
Arigatou is a significant musical production associated with NHK, Japan's national public broadcaster. It emerged from the network's long-standing commitment to high-quality educational and cultural programming, specifically within the context of their long-running music variety shows and annual special projects that aim to foster a sense of collective gratitude and communal reflection among the Japanese public.
The production is characteristic of NHK’s polished, orchestrated approach to sentimental programming. Designed to evoke warmth and connection, the work was crafted by NHK’s internal production teams and featured performers often associated with the network's signature programs.
