There was a rumour among the young people in Harajuku, Tokyo. There is a place called Ura-Harajuku somewhere in Harajuku, and it seems that there is a shop run by a witch. The witch's name is Nina. A young witch with a chameleon and a pig fulfills the secret wishes of her guests. Her method is to invite her to a mysterious space and look into the "real feelings" deep inside her heart. Customers are sometimes excited, sometimes hurt, and make their own choices to fulfill their wishes.

Where it came from
Artiswitch was released in 2021 by the animation studio Sunrise as a collaborative original net animation project. It was conceived as a multi-media initiative intended to bridge the gap between traditional anime aesthetics and contemporary influencer culture, specifically focusing on the lives of young creators navigating the digital landscape of Harajuku. The series explores themes of identity, creative ambition, and the intersection of art and commerce through its distinctive, stylized visual direction.
The character designs and overall visual identity of the project were crafted to reflect a vibrant, fashion-forward sensibility, heavily influenced by the street style and artistic subcultures of Tokyo. By integrating elements of magical realism with the grounded reality of internet fame, Sunrise aimed to capture a modern zeitgeist that resonated with a younger, globally connected audience. Upon its release, it was noted for its experimental production approach and its departure from the studio's traditional long-form action series.
