A young boy, Beet, dreams of joining the Zenon Squad. However, one day, as a result of Beet's fault, the Zenon squad was defeated by the devil, Beltose. The five dying busters sacrificed their life power into their five weapons, Saiga. After giving their weapons to Beet, they passed away. Where it came from
Beet the Vandel Buster Excellion serves as the second season of the anime adaptation of the manga series written by Riku Sanjo and illustrated by Koji Inada. Produced by Toei Animation, the series follows the journey of a young Vandel Buster named Beet who seeks to end the reign of terror inflicted by the Vandels, powerful monsters that prey on humanity. This continuation of the original 2004 series maintains the shonen action tropes typical of the era, focusing on the development of protagonist Beet and his party of companions.
The series design reflects the collaborative effort between Sanjo and Inada, who previously gained recognition for their work on Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. The visual style is characterized by the high-energy, combat-centric aesthetic favored by Toei Animation during the mid-2000s. While the series did not reach the global ubiquity of some of its contemporaries, it holds a distinct place in the catalog of Toei's fantasy-adventure titles, centered on the dynamic growth of its core characters as they evolve their weaponry and skills to overcome increasingly formidable opponents.
