Cat's Tea SP

Cat's Tea, known in its original Chinese context as 'Mao Zhi Cha,' emerged from the vibrant digital landscape fostered by the bilibili platform. Produced as an ONA (Original Net Animation), the series was conceived as a lighthearted, slice-of-life exploration of anthropomorphic feline characters navigating human-like situations, reflecting the platform's commitment to supporting niche, creative animation projects that resonate with younger, internet-savvy audiences in China.

The character design and overall aesthetic lean into the 'moe' style characteristic of contemporary web-based animation, prioritizing expressive, rounded features and a soothing color palette to enhance its comedic and therapeutic appeal. The series was designed to be consumed in short, digestible segments, a format that garnered a dedicated following for its gentle humor and the distinct personality quirks assigned to the feline protagonists.
