CHAOS;CHILD: Silent Sky

CHAOS;CHILD: Silent Sky serves as the concluding cinematic chapter to the 2017 anime adaptation of the visual novel developed by 5pb. and Nitroplus. Produced by the studio SILVER LINK., the film was released to provide a definitive resolution to the complex psychological narrative centered on Takuru Miyashiro and the aftermath of the New Generation Madness incidents. It was designed to tie together the branching character paths of the source material into a singular, cohesive finale that emphasizes the series' recurring themes of delusion and reality.

The production sought to maintain the visual consistency of the preceding television series, utilizing the studio's established aesthetic to transition the investigation into a theatrical scope. By focusing on the emotional payoff for the primary cast, the creative team aimed to satisfy long-time followers of the Science Adventure series. Upon its release, the film was received as a necessary completion for the adaptation, noted by viewers for its commitment to the franchise's darker, cerebral tone and its reliance on the deep lore established in the original game.
