Where it came from
Corporate Warrior Arslan is a four-episode ONA produced by LIDENFILMS in 2016 as a promotional tie-in for the Arslan Senki franchise. It reimagines the epic historical fantasy characters as modern-day office workers, trading the battlefield for corporate boardrooms and daily cubicle struggles. This satirical short series was designed to leverage the popularity of the main anime adaptation while providing a humorous, lighthearted break from the high-stakes narrative of the source material.
The animation reflects the studio's attempt to bridge the gap between serious high-fantasy tropes and contemporary workplace comedy. By placing the stoic Prince Arslan and his companions into familiar corporate settings, the production aimed to engage the existing fanbase with meta-humor and character-driven gags. While it remains a niche entry in the franchise, it is regarded as a creative exercise in genre-bending that highlights the versatility of the original character archetypes.
