Cyborg009 Call Of Justice 3

Cyborg 009: Call of Justice is the third installment in a 2016 film trilogy produced by Signal.MD, serving as a modern revival of Shotaro Ishinomori's classic 1964 manga series. The project was conceived to mark the franchise's 50th anniversary, bringing the iconic nine cyborgs into a contemporary narrative setting. It utilizes 3D computer-generated animation, a deliberate stylistic departure from the traditional hand-drawn aesthetic of previous adaptations, intended to provide a fluid, dynamic visual language for its high-octane action sequences.

The films were directed by Koudai Kakimoto under the supervision of Kenji Kamiyama, who sought to blend the nostalgic spirit of the original source material with a serialized, cinematic structure. Upon release, the trilogy received mixed but generally appreciative feedback from long-time fans of Ishinomori's work. Critics noted that while the transition to full CG animation polarized some viewers accustomed to the legacy art style, the project successfully modernized the themes of existential identity and heroic sacrifice for a new generation of audiences.
