Doraemon: Nobita to Mirai Noto

Doraemon: Nobita to Mirai Noto, or Doraemon: Nobita and the Future Notebook, was produced by Shin-Ei Animation as part of an educational series released in the mid-1990s. Unlike the major theatrical features, this production was commissioned to teach children about the importance of environmental conservation and the responsible use of future technology. It reflects the studio's long-standing tradition of using the Doraemon franchise as a vehicle for social messaging and moral education.

The animation style aligns with the established aesthetic of the 1979 anime series, maintaining the iconic character designs created by Fujiko F. Fujio. The narrative focuses on themes of sustainability and the consequences of careless actions, a common trope in environmental-themed educational specials from that era in Japan. While it remains a niche entry compared to the feature-length films, it is regarded by collectors as a significant example of the franchise's role in institutional and public service media.
