Where it came from
The Ganbare! Kakure Ase Project was developed by the creative studio G-angle as a public service-oriented ONA (Original Net Animation) series. Launched in Japan, the project was designed to address the common but often overlooked issue of excessive sweating, providing viewers with educational content regarding the condition through an accessible and approachable animated format.
The production utilizes a character-driven design approach to normalize conversations around hyperhidrosis. By blending medical information with typical anime character archetypes, G-angle aimed to reduce the social stigma associated with the condition. The series has been recognized primarily for its role in health communication, serving as a specialized niche project that prioritizes clarity and viewer comfort over traditional commercial entertainment goals.
