Genshin Ten: Tabigokoro no Omomuku Mama ni Kinen Anime

Genshin Ten: Tabigokoro no Omomuku Mama ni is a commemorative original net animation (ONA) produced to celebrate the third anniversary of the globally successful action role-playing game Genshin Impact. Released in late 2023, the short film served as a centerpiece for the 'Genshin Ten' exhibition tour held in various cities across Japan. The project was conceived as a love letter to the game’s vast player base, aiming to encapsulate the sense of wonder and exploration central to the experience of traversing the world of Teyvat.

The production leans into the distinct aesthetic established by HoYoverse, utilizing high-quality 2D animation that mirrors the game's stylized, vibrant art direction. The creative team sought to evoke the emotional journey of the Traveler, focusing on atmospheric storytelling and the quiet, scenic moments often overshadowed by the game's high-octane combat. Upon its release, the piece was well-received by the community for its evocative score and its ability to condense the vast scope of the game’s world-building into a concise, cinematic format.
