Girls und Panzer das Finale - Part 3

Girls und Panzer das Finale - Part 3 is the third installment in a six-part cinematic series that serves as the conclusion to the Girls und Panzer franchise. Released in Japanese theaters in March 2021 by Studio Actas, the film continues the narrative arc of Oarai Girls Academy as they compete in the high-stakes Winter Track Cup. The production maintains the series' characteristic blend of intricate tactical tank maneuvers and character-driven drama, building upon the foundations established by the original 2012 television series.

The film was directed by Tsutomu Mizushima, a veteran director known for his ability to balance chaotic action sequences with comedic timing. Reiko Yoshida, who has been instrumental in shaping the franchise’s dialogue and pacing, returned to write the screenplay. The design language focuses on historical accuracy for the armored vehicles contrasted against the stylized, approachable aesthetic of the student characters, a deliberate creative choice that has resonated with fans of military history and anime alike since the inception of the series.
